This stuff is wonderful, and I highly recommend it for those with cats. Not only does it help with the odor situation, but I love that it keeps the litter from sticking to the box itself.
When I change the kitty litter, I first spray the box with this. It "seals" the porous plastic in the box and prevents the odor and urine from getting in. It also prevents the litter from sticking to the box when it's in use. So cleaning the box out is much easier.
I also use this in-between complete box changes. A little bit sprayed on the top of the litter keeps the odor down and freshens things up. I don't feel like this product is covering up the odor as much as "encapsulating" it and removing it.
It has a baby powder scent to it. So it smells "clean" to me. I like the scent.
It's a good value for the money. I'm still on one of my first cans of it, and I've used it rather frequently. It doesn't take a lot to work. I like that. Some products require quite a bit to work.
This product beats all other kitty box odor sprays/powders/etc out there.
(One of my kitties has a tendency to want to smell the box after I've sprayed it. Consequently, she occasionally gets the product on the top of her head! I was concerned about this - and whether it could be dangerous when she then cleans herself. However, I checked it out with both the company and my vet. While you don't want to spray this stuff actually on them or near their food/water, this product is not toxic and is not dangerous if the cat gets a bit on their paw or head and then bathes. Something to be reassured about, if you have cats like mine!)
